When i resume windows after putting my system to sleep, i get the welcome screen where if have to click on my user to enter windows. How can i get it to automatically login as the user.
I have windows configured to auto login when i first boot up, but it doesn't seem to work after resuming from a sleep.
Sorry if this is more of a windows question rather than MP. But i'm trying to get the PowerScheduler and Sleep/Resume funtions working as desired.
Thanks

UPDATE:
Sorry to waste everyone time. I found it, right under my nose.
For anyone else as blind as me and wants to know , There is a seperate "Prompt for password when computer resumes from standby" in the Power Options Properties tab in the Control Panel.
I thought this was coverd by the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" in the user accounts window but obviously not.
I'm one step closer to my ideal MP Media Centre!

Just go into the registry and enter this information:

Hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windowsnt\currentversion\winlogon
-Autoadminlogin (1)
-DefaultUserName (your user)
-DefaultPassword (your password)
-DefaultDomainName (if you have a domain)

You'll need to create the DefaultPassword string and value.
