I want ti replace the Ribbon Component, which is currently in use, by a different one, which has more features and less bugs.

So this means, that the Ribbon Bar could / should be redesigned.
Thread is open for suggestions. (don't tell me to remove the ribbon and have a menu onlly)

    AW: Ribbon Bar redesign

No. 1 improvement would be to make "Save" more prominent. It's a feature you need everytime but it only has such a small icon...

Too bad, that's just what I wanted to do! Having just migrated from Office 2003 to Office 2007 I find the ribbon paradigm very frustrating. Menus are particularly nice when equipped with keyboard shortcuts, as this really allows you to work quicker once you get to know the application. This is one reason why I still use Mp3Tag for a lot of things, in spite of all of the brilliant features you have packed into MPTagThat.
Maybe this is the wrong place for this. If so. please move it to a more appropriate thread:
The wiki page says there is a ribbon button to get "Cover Art", but I can't see it in MPTagThat 1.1.3582.27754.
If you add it back, I would like some way to choose between tagging individual tracks (the current method) and downloading to directory as "folder.jpg" (my preference). Maybe a button with a pull-down menu with the choices:
    Tag Selected Track(s)
    Download File to Selected Directory
:D for all of your efforts, and keep up the good work!

For EVERY command that is on teh ribbon, there is a Keyboard Shortcut.

Having a Ribbon does not mean, that you can't use keyboard short cuts. I personally never click on the ribbons myself. only use shortcuts.
Look at Preferences (F12) to see all the shortcuts and there you can even do your own remapping.

Get Coverart (Ctrl+B) has it's icon in the ribbon. 6th icon from the left, just above "Get Lyrics".

the saving as a folder.jpg instead of including it in the tag itself, would indeed be a new feature.

Sorry I was too dumb to find these. I was expecting to see underlined letters for the shortcuts, but I can see how that is impractical, if the user can define them him/herself. Keep up the good work!

I have a couple of ideas, but I need to know whether you are capable of coding an UI like Ribbon from scratch (or whether you just used a ribbon library).
I code c# myself, but I'm not capable of designing a complex user interface with (complex) custom controls.
If we were to work together, I would create a mockup in Photoshop and explain my ideas.
