rmvb files (rv40 codec) problem (1 Viewer)

Does mediaportal support this codec nativelly? When I add this extension to the supported media files ,is any way to hide the external player when the video starts to play ? What video player is the best "partner" to do this task with media portal? Thanks in advance.
