Rosewill MCE remote (1 Viewer)

I have a Rosewill MCE remote
Mod-RRC 126 RC6 ir

USB receiver IR605 series

Running MP 1.2.2

Now this has been working well up until the other day.

What has just started to happen is while I am watching tv and I press say, 122 the info page shows but it doesn't change to channel 122.

Also if I am in the guide and press the same the guide goes to say, channel 516.

It appears that the number button mapping has got corrupted somehow and in the remote mapping section there is no way to correct this.

Has anyone run into this and if so how do I correct it?

I just added the log after I did some extended logging in the remote setup section.

I tried IR Server as well today and get the same problem.

I forgot to mention in first post that while in the guide, when I press 122 it does show 122 in the box at the top but still goes to 516.

So it seems the remote is sending the right signal but for whatever reason MP is not recognizing it.

Under MP config\TV is the "select channel by index" unchecked.

No it wasn't.
I checked it and then did a reboot.
I then went into the guide and when I put in 122 it went to 226 this time.
So I went back to TV on the config and checked
show channel numbers. Rebooted again.

So what we got now is channel number in front of a channel number.

This is working the way it should except I got two channel numbers.

While in full screen tv it changes to the right channel.

Going to UN-check that "show channel numbers" and see if it corrects things.

Least we are getting somewhere even if it is not quite right yet.

Ok by checking both those boxes and rebooting. I got what Is in post above.

Then I unchecked then both and now everything is working again the way it should and was before.

The only thing I can think happened is doing what I did corrected some corrupted file in MP.

Working well now so I am happy.
