When streaming to xbmc, we read the duration as given by the rtsp reply. This gives us the duration at the setup of the stream. This is all fine and dandy untill we get to the end of that duration. Since the recording may very well have continued, we keep playing outside the full timestamp. Could the rtsp server be changed to do a RTSP ANNOUNCE, when it starts sending data past the range it initially set? then we could pick that up and update our total duration accordingly. Would also be nice if it did so if streaming source (channel) changed without the rtps connection being torn down.</blockquote>
