Sometimes my tv just hangs after a while and i need to switch to another channel to watch tv.
I read the following in the streamer server.log:RTSP client session from 192.168.100.11 has timed out (due to inactivity) (0) (7cb74d0)

I have updated al my systems but it doens't seems to work.
The other problem i have sometimes is my client lost connection to the server. I moved my client to my another room and it looks like the problem disapeard.(bad cable or something).

But i have still the inactivity problem. Is there a time out? Yesterday i runs 9 hours before the error occurs. But after that it stops after 10 minutes. After i restart the tv service it works fine for a time!

i hope that someone has a clue

one thing: the tv server database is sql server 2008 express edition!

I'm sure it's the running tvserver. When i move a lot off files from one drive to another i can reproduce the timed out error.
It happens with my firedtv and also with my hauppauge card.

It was a bad driver. Strange that i never had networking problems, only with mediaportal.

Good to hear that you did find the cause for the issue. Especially when it was outside MP :)
