I am reasonably sure that the answer is No :(. Zorin OS is a Linux distribution, and MP cannot run on Linux. There is a "Windows compatible" OS called ReactOS, which is attempting to reproduce the binary interfaces of Windows but without using any Windows code. It has been in development for nearly 30 years, and still has not reached version 1. "ExplainingComputers" did a Youtube video on it recently, this one. Some Windows applications do work on ReactOS, but would MP run? Someone needs to try it. You, perhaps? I still run Windows 7 on my HTPC, and Windows 10 on the laptop that I am posting from. I don't anticipate changing from Windows 10 for at least another 10 years. If you are determined to move to Zorin (or another Linux distribution), there is NextPvr, which is similar to MP, is also free for personal use, and is available in both Windows and Linux versions. I have read elsewhere (the Microsoft WMC forum, I think) that VM machines do not pass through TV tuners to the client OS. If true, TV Server would not work on a VM. Have you tried running TV Server on a VM? It would be useful to know the answer, one way or the other. -- from CyberSimian in the UK
