S-Video output as default monitor (2 Viewers)

I'm using an old laptop as my htpc and it came with an S-Video output, so I've been using that as a connection to my tv, but I have to enable it everytime the computer is shut off. Is there anyway that I can make the default monitor an S-Video output? I guess mainly what I would like to happen is that when I turn the computer on it will show on the tv automatically. Is this possible?

I don't think so with a laptop but you would have to search forums pertaining to your particular laptop.
