It is all caused by VSFilter! If I have it enabled it will automatically load whenever the movie has subtitles available with is killing the hw acceleration even if I am not viewing the subs. I confirmed this with graphedit. If I disable it I will get an error when I try and play the file about not having a renderer for the sub file but the movie will play fine with 10% CPU usage. The subtitles are all embedded in the MKV file and seem to make VSFilter load no matter what I do unless its disabled.I would like to know if there is a way to make VSFilter only load if I choose to use the subs. I have tired everything I can think of. I have tired to disable it during the install of the filters and then set it to use it in the mediaportal postprocessing settings with the same outcome. I assume there could be no fix for this but any help would be appreciated. I always knew subs would break DXVA&nbsp; but I assumed that would only happen if they were displayed. Most of my movies have subs so this is a big problem. For the moment I have to use CoreAVC.</blockquote>
