Message: <blockquote data-quote="Alfrescoid" data-source="post: 343001" data-attributes="member: 25631">Thanks hoborg, but perhaps I didn't make myself clear.  If you install PDVD Trial, then when you run MP Config, you get some configuration options under DirectShow Fileter Control - PowerDVD 8 Decoder Settings.  Here is where you usually enable/disable hardware decoding.When installed usinf SAF, this option window is not revealed in MP config.  I guess I just wanted the peace of mind knowing there was a checkbox somewhere with Hardware Acceleration ticked...</blockquote>
