MPC MPA decoder is not part of SAF around 1/2 of year....

Strange.
Not sure what installed it. Maybe it is part of MP installation itself?
However the installation of the latest SAF5 (or the uninstall of the previous SAF5) unregistered the filter (ax file is still present).
This was not the case with all the previous SAF5 versions I was using (100526, 100512, 100507, 100430, 100420, 100401).

That is not true, SAF replace it by FFDShow (which works for most of people using passthrough). If you uninstall SAF, it is registered back again.
SAF doing this since MPC MPA decoder was removed from SAF.

Strange. You can see from my previous post which versions of SAF5 I had installed. And the codec in question was always present after that. However not a big deal to re-register the codec. Pass through with FFDSHOW works but not with the core of a DTS HD stream via SPDIF.

Hi,

i gave the latest Saf5 unlocked a try because with the Shark007 Win Codecpack I can´t skip forward / backward on Onlinevideos.

So, Onlinevideos works good and I can skip in Videos forward. TV and Videos works good, too.
But my Trailers wont work anymore !

I have installed QT lite and medialooks mov filter. With the Shark pack my trailers works.

What is happend ? Does Saf5 not supported My Trailers ?

SPDIF don't have enough bandwidth to passthrough DTS HD, you need always HDMI connection for that.
That is not a problem of ffdshow.

No, some old versions of ffdshow need thar option selected to passthrough DTS HD and DD THD, so try to uncheck and if all plays well don't worry.

But that is not passthrough DTS HD, you are not bitstreaming. You are downgrade DTS HD to DTS, it's diffferent.

But that is not passthrough DTS HD, you are not bitstreaming. You are downgrade DTS HD to DTS, it's diffferent.

I never said I passthrough DTS HD via SPDIF. I'm bitstreaming the DTS core of a DTS HD stream. And that is of course bitstreaming.

No need to install media look filter if you have unlocked SAF installed. And there is no need to have QT alternative installed to play online videos. Just make sure you install SAF as last one.
