Can enybody test latest SAF build under Vista/Win7 and try play some AVI files?

I noticed MP RC2 is out.
It this version you can use FFDShow video decoder for LiveTV (MPEG-2 only). Please report how it is working with SAF.

So here we go!

SD works but when switchting to HD the sound continous and the picture stucks after 1 frame. When i then switch back to SD channel, MP does something like a hard exit.... See logfiles.

Why you have "ffdshow DXVA Video Decoder" is use? You should use (live TV) PDVD for h.264 and FFDshow for MPEG-2.

similar here, have round about 10-15 fps in live tv with ffdshow. with PowerDVD 9 Codec tv is perfect, in SD and HD i have 50fps.
It is the first time I've installed your package and it works great in live tv! very big thanks for your work!
but I cannot play my avi files. I've just tested this because you asked for that, so I think you maybe already know about that issue?!
(System: latest SAF 5.0, Win7 x64, MP 1.1 RC2)

Did you tryed to open and play AVI in GraphStudio?

When I try to open it in the GraphStudio (pressing "File" --> "add media file" thats right?) then GraphStudio says "Cannot render file".
when I try it with .ts files the Graph is displayed without any problems.
Any idea how to get .avi to work?

Why you have "ffdshow DXVA Video Decoder" is use? You should use (live TV) PDVD for h.264 and FFDshow for MPEG-2.

The combination h.264 = PDVD and MPEG-2 = ffdshow does work but the sound has a huge delay to the picture (in SD) HD with PDVD does not have this problem with the same audio codec (also ffdshow).

Please, left h.264 LiveTV a side, test only MPEG-2 LiveTV and no passthourgh. Thanks.

But, in SAF 5.00 can you print screen the config of "condec renderer" in the section of "videos", like there is one in SAF 4.00?

Is is the same, only MPC video decoder is replaced by FFDShow DXVA decoder.

Ok. I thinks that i have done that and when i try to play a mkv with DTS-MA, the film don't start.
Then i play the same in MPC-HC and it works perfect, with DTS-MA passthrough with HDMI.

But i will try again this weekend.

i have the exact problem, well at least i think so... dont know if its because of DTS-MA but some moves wont play.
i get no error msgs, i get nothing..
and with graphstudio and MPC-HC it works perfectly....
