SAF 5.00 SVN100625:
- ALL - MPC-HC filters/player updated to rev. 1.3.2075
- ALL - FFDShow updated to rev.3483
- ALL - added "xMP4@50" profile in to FFDShow DXVA decoder to disable
playback of MP4 with 50FPS to prevent "glitch every 2-3s" bug
- ALL - reduce subtitle size

Hello,

i have a problem with PDVD10 codec (and all Cyberlink ones), i cannot set DXVA in the filter properties! I am running under Win7 but before on XP it was working.
If i set DXVA, i apply but it's always SW option which is set when i get back to the properties window.
My graphic card is ATI HD3200 (IGP).

Any idea?

There is no need to set anything, all is preconfigured by SAF default.
Does DXVA works in graphstudio?

I don't think so because my CPU (Core2 5600) usage >50% for H264 content (live TV).

I tried again to set DXVA with graphstudio but no success (always SW is selected finally)

What can i do?

This is not SAF related, try different GPU drivers, AERO setting, etc..., or different GPU (like ATI 5450).
BTW what about PDVD10 app., does DXVA works here?

As DVB-T uses LATM AAC in NZ, in using ffdshow postprocessing to convert LATM AAC to AC3 which my receiver understands. All works well except ff/rew and mute. Both these features work fine with postprocessing disabled. Is this something peculiar to my setup or just one of the downsides of postprocessing?

Just thought I would mention....

I have been having a lot of trouble with h264 video in mkv container on my Acer 3610 client. Played fine in GraphStudio, but in MP stuttered horribly.

Tried all sorts of stuff - reinstalled MP, reinstalled SAF, went back to SAF 4.00. All to no avail.

Updated Realtek Audio driver, problem solved.

Lesson is make sure your drivers both video and particularly audio are up to date. Hope this helps someone
