This can be VC-1i - this is not supported.

With saf400 i can play this file without an error

With saf400 i can play this file without an error

Try to disable MS DMO decoder (START - SAF - MS DMO - disable)
Try to open it in graphstudio - does it works?

I have installed SAF 5 on a fresh install of Windows 7 64bit and Mediaportal RC1.

FFDShow looks great, very rich colour which I love.

However, some of my avi files are not rendering any sound?? Please see the 1st picture attached.

Others are suffering from mild audio delay. I have noticed these are using MP3 Decoder DMO for audio. Is it supposed to be using this?

My SAF install log is also attached.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

BTW, i bet you enable paasthrought durning SAF install.

Sorry, I copied the log onto a memory stick and forgot to attach - here it is.

Yes I did go for passthrough.

What is the best option/strategy when you want to be able to use passthrough for surround sound on occasion to an external amp, but a lot of the time, just use hdmi to the TV?

OK thanks, I'll have a search.

For general use and my problem in my post where there is no graph for audio in the 1st instance, am I best off reinstalling SAF 5 and not choosing passthrough?
