Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

It isn't small ...

6 channels, Codec DTS - 26M
04-Faszination Natur - Most spectacular Landscapes.dts

6 channels, Codec FLAC - 61M
01. Stop This World.flac

I am not keeping this file for long time. Please download it if you need.

*.FLAC should already be working (at last in graphstudio), just make sure you enabled DirectShow for audio files in MePo.

EDIT:
Both your samples plays in Graphstudio (WinXP).

Could you please to explain where I should enable DirectShow in MP?

@Kernel.32:

1)You mean external*.DTS audio files? I never have any of these files, so it is not tested by SAF. Can you provide smal sample to test?
Here you can find a sample: http://www.kellyindustries.com/downloads/dts_the_other_side_44khz_wav.zip
Here you can find some other samples: Free DTS and AC-3 (Dolby Digital) Downloads - Kelly Industries - Sales & Information
You can convert "song.wav" dts file into "song.dts" dts file with "wav2dts" tool (attached). I had to do that process to use these files with mediaplayer. BTW, VLC player plays all them without problems.

2)Try to play them in Graphstudio. BTW, use reclock at your own risk...
Which risks? If I risk to compromise something I wouldn't install it! Later, at home, I'll try with Graphstudio, and report you what I see.

Thanks
PS: Amiga rules :)

Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

Downgraded the ATI drivers but it remains the same about those movies...

Try disable DXVA - START - SAF - FFDShow - Configure Video (DXVA) and here Hardware acceleration and disable h.264

then try again in graphstudio...

With DXVA disabled they worked in graphstudio, but in MP they don't work and some of the others movies work in slow motion....

Ok, found the problem: it's the audio codec! If I change the audio codec from ffdshow audio to Microsoft DVD it plays the movies fine (except 300 with macro blocks that only plays fine in MPC!). But with the microsoft codec i can't change audio streams so i don't know what to do.... (and I don't like ac3 filter since I always have sound drops...)

Just for test, try to disable Passthrough durning SAF install. Does your videos works now in graphstudio?

MePo config, Music - Player: Internal DShow player.

Thanks a lot. But not played, still hear noises...
But in foobar2000 +DST plugin all ok.

OK, i added DTS/AC3 source filter in to next SAF, now it is possible to play *.AC3/*.DTS audio files in MePo (DS player)

Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

Hi hoborg.
Please make a new build as soon as possible due to this addon in ffdshow:
rev3491: Added edition support to IAMStreamSelect and ffdshow vdieo context menu.

This is added in albain's patch here as well..
:D

It works but then I loose audio stream switch in MP... ( and 300 keeps with the blocks issue)
