For my files with RC6, this new build is no different.

The default setting for MPEG1 is still libavcodec. Again, disabling MPEG1 support in ffdshow fixes the problem.

This looks like you GPU doesnot support NV12 output which is needed for HW deinterlacing.
Please send me your SAF logs...

Again, i can play your sample without any problem here.

BTW, does MPEG-2 files work?

Try to enable YUY2 colorspace output (it is disabled by default in FFDshow MPEG profile) in FFDShow - output (or diferent one, try by yourself which one works for you).

BTW, your GPU drivers looks like preaty old:
GPU driver version: 8.1.1.921 date: 6-3-2009

EDIT:
Here is screenshot as it should work: - on stupid "Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family (i945G0)" NV12 output doesnot work too (crash), so it is disabled by default by SAF, YUY2 is used instead, maybe this needs to be done for "ATI Radeon HD 4200 (ati2mtag_RS880)" too, just try to update drivers first.

I messed with all the output settings, and nothing changed.

Downloading an updated graphic driver now. Fingers crossed.

Incidentally, I don't know why the SAF log shows

GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4200 (ati2mtag_RS880)
GPU provider: ATI Technologies Inc.
GPU driver version: 8.1.1.921 date: 6-3-2009

I have a GeForce 8500 GT graphics card!

I guess the onboard video might be ATI (I didn't think so though).

Full Nvidia h.264 support came in with the 8400 onwards series of cards although there was some functionality from the 6600 onwards.

Please try test build i posted .

Send me your SAF logs from this version.

Make sure you disabled audio passthrough in SAF install

Test your video samples in graphstudio, not in MePo.
