No problem.
If you want to play it, disable VC-1 in FFDshow DXVA decoder. Then MS DMO decoder will be used and you will be able to play it.

Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

I've installed new SAF SVN.
Set DShow player for music and tryied *.DTS files and *.WAV DTS files. Now mepo doesn't say "can't reproduce", but it skips files.
With media player I hear noise with *.WAV DTS and can't reproduce *.DTS.
Any help appreciated.

Does it works in graphstudio?
NOTE:
Must be DTS, not DTS HD.

Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

Graphstudio plays DTS files, but the pitch and speed are wrong (songs are faster). I think that this problem is caused by "resample" option, but disabling it means no more support to dts files.

Things are going harder :(

Update:
if I disable s/pdif passthrough all works fine.... I have realtek high definition audio connected to an A/V ampli (onkyo) via coaxial cable. Disabling s/pdif passthrough will I loose something? Is more cpu used?

AW: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

    Hi,

I have installed the lateste Build.
My problem is, I cannot open avi files.

    Graphstudio: "unable to render"

    mkv Containers are working fine.

I uninstalled Halil befor installing SAF 5, but it seems to me, that there is something broken in the Regestry.
If I re install Halil on top of SAF 5 (I know thats not "right"), avi files are working correctly.

    Any ideas?!

Avi are splited by default OS AVI splittrer. Looks like you have some problem with quartz.dll.

Use MKV Merge to convert AVI-MKV, or try to fix our OS installation.

Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

I'm having problems with getting FFDShow DXVA to kick in in Mediaportal. I've got a blu-ray that will play with DXVA in media player classic HC and graph studio shows DXVA also but when it's played in MediaPortal it plays with standard FFDshow.

I also have several apple .mov 1080p trailers from Toy Story 3 - Movie Trailers - iTunes that won't play with DXVA in MediaPortal but do in MPC-HC. The video in all of them is also about 1 second behind the audio in both but that seems to be more to do with the MPC-HC codecs/FFDshow as VLC player plays the file OK.

If you want any logs or screenshots let me know. I'm setup as per the instructions on the first page of this thread.
