hi,

does someone know why i sometimes get the strange kinda artifacts when playing a bluray .m2ts file? During the movie i get these strange blocks in the picture and it disappears right away, but it's anoying. Because they return to much during playback.

See attachment for example.

Try disable DXVA. Can be caused GPU drivers, GPU overheating, etc...

that worked, now i have to find out why it happens with some files and not all. I only have to disable H264 dxva to fix it

got a hmm maybe stupid question -

after de-installing SAF4 and installing SAF5 ...
most of my MKV-files (BluRay) are not playable ...

Mepo says:

not playable: AVC

if i deinstall SAF5 and install SAF4 again ... all fine and running ...
tried tha last 4 version of SAF from your side ... (also that SAF5VC1-test.exe)

for myself i like to use pdvd10 - thats why i would like to change to SAF5 on all my MePo clients
- with ffd-dxva i have delay with sound after a few minutes (not syncron)
... pdvd10 from your AF5 works good for me...

Did you enabled passthrough? Does it works in Graphstudio?

grafstudio can't display anything
- couse the stream does not start ...

i 'll try to reproduce the fault on my office machine here ...

same fault as @ home

same error with any skin ...
container is .MKV / 8100 Mb-file size

You have lots of errors in LOGs. No idea what thats mean.

really no idea ...

i have that phenomenen now on alltoghether 4 machines ... :-(

three of them have a HD3xxx GPU (two HD3200onBoard & one HD3850)
two with nVidia (GF8200 onBoard & on ION)
- allthough i didn't test the SAF5 on the ION machine ...

Did you added FFDShow audio decoder in to MePo postprocessing? If yes, remove it.
