Re: SAF v5.00 experimental (based on FFDShow DXVA decoder)

I have tried SAF 5.00 install, but my sound on TV channels is WAY out of sync (not just a little bit!).

Any idea how to fix? I just did a default install and haven't made any changes.

Removing SAF 5.00 the sound returns to normal..

I also have the same problem when I tried SAF 4.00.

Thanks!

You are using passthrough, right?

I replied no to installing passthrough... I use an HDMI from my GTX460 to my TV which carries sound. I am not using SPDIF.

Does this happend on local media eighter or TV only?
Can you try "normal" analog cable connection (just for test)?

It seems to be TV only - movies seem to be ok..

I don't have an analogue cable handy - and the sound card is disabled, it is using the GTX460 to carry sound.

Changing the audio decoder for TV back to Microsoft doesn't seem to help - only a complete uninstall fixes it, but then obviously I miss the video codecs!!

That didnt much sence to me.
If local media play OK, then SAF is working as it should.

    @Vampiro:
Sorry, i have no idea what can be wrong.

Should I change my graphic card for a powerfull one? Or try AVIVO?

AVIVO is used to code video not to decode.
But it is true there is some ATI decoders in this package.

You can try K-Lite, this pack have good ability to fix broken system.

And new GPU is good idea, Radeon 5450 or nVidia 2xx is good option for HTPC.
