it seems, that the preview-function of tvserver-setup is not working anymore if the newst saf is installed.
if i want preview a tv channel, i get only sound but no picture!
the preview windows stays empty.
after deeinstalling saf, preview was working again.
can anyone verify that please?

and whats up this time? it seems, that the download-server is not reachable anymore.

That is the problem of TV server preview graph build. Instead of use defined video renderer it will use system default.
By other words, by some reason preview doesnot work with VMR9/EVR renderers - this issue is here since SAF5 itself.

Hi all,
I have a small problem with this video menu and I need some help,
But I don’t know if it belongs to SAF,Mepo,streamedMP or moving pictures ???
So I’ll Start posting the question here and if is not the right place thanks to tell me
Where to go?
The problem:
When I try to fix one of my movies from OSD menu (sharpness, luminosity, and gamma) the sliders move until 29 then stops (can't go any further) but the image doesn’t change a thing even on 29?

My specs:
Codecs: only SAF 5
Media center: mepo 1.1.3, moving pictures 1.1.2.1219, streamed mp 1.5.2
System: Win 7 x64, Intel i5 750, Nvidia GTX 460
If you need any logs or if I miss something, thanks to let me know it and I’LL post them ASAP

Could be that you have DTS set to passthrough. If the BluRay has DTS-HD this will occur in MePo but not in graphstudio. FFDSHOW has some problems with DTS-HD over spdif. Try to set DTS to decode. This will be fixed in saf6 I think.

Excellent, thanks. I'll give it a go! I think I do remember enabling passthrough, that could be it (i do have a new receiver cabling of receiving these streams)

Is "unlock" available, too?

Just upgraded to 501 from 500 (first uninstalled), after Message "Files will be downloaded" another Message was displayed showing only "0".
In log file "SAF_LOGs.7z" all Logs have new file date, but "SAF-downloaded.txt" still shows file date from March.
This is the content of "SAF_LOGs.7z":

Working fine for me.
Unlock files are on different server.

OK, but normally Setup-Message Box says "Downloaded xxx bytes", this time a MessageBox without a title was displayed saying "0".

Offline unlock is great!
Unlocked in Dec 2009 and used the same SAF_key.exe ever since.
