Audio passthrough should be added in next LAVF (including HD audio) - this should be really soon.
Then we should be able to say goodbay to ffdshow audio decoder

adding ffdshow audio processor to video postprocessing doesn't help. I have double clicked on lavf audio decoder but how to deativate aac then. I can't find any settings only the actual filter properties.

Audio processor filter need to be configured first - SAF didnt do this for you.
But i think it will be better just to wait little more unlit LAVF audio add AC3 encoding.

This mean ACC->AC3 realtime encoding.
Open your video in graphstudio, 2x click on lavf audio decoder and disable AAC.
It should be working now.

Thanks but shouldn't this be the default then?

Better way will be add "ffdshow Audio Processor" to MePo postprocessing. This should alow re-encoding all possible 5.1 streams to AC3 including WMA, FLAC, AAC.
I need to do some test first.
BTW, LAVF should support passthrough soon.

AAC/FLAC/WMA to AC3 reencoding is not currently supported, i will look on some solution later.

OK, here is new SAF6 build with 3 new languages: (all seems to be working just fine)

SAF 6.00 SVN20110502:
- added DUT (ffdshow Dutch translation doesn't exists), ITA and GER translations
- MPC-HC filters/player updated to rev. 1.5.2.3058
- FFDShow updated to rev.3832
- ffdshow Audio Processor is now preconfigured for AAC/WMA/FLAC to AC3 conversion

There is no need to have two (or more) audio decoders inside one package. LAVF decoders are good and if somebody found a bug/problem, nevcairiel will fix it as soon as possible. This is nearly not possible with FFDShow...

Here is new saf6 test build.

Add ffdshow audio processor to MePo video postprocessing: (this should reencode FLAC/AAC/WMA 5.1 streams to 5.1 AC3 and passthrough it).

If you connect graphstudio while playing for example video with AAC in MePo you should get this chain:

With included test build. Old one was not preconfigured for processor filter.
