???
You mean *.MP3 audio files or video file with MP3 audio track?

Both working just fine for me.

EDIT:
Can you open and play your TS file in Graphstudio (START - SAF - Tools - Graphstudio) and see if passthrough will be working? Make sure you have AC3 bitstream enabled in LAVF audio decoder - check that by 2x click on LAVF audio decoder in Graphstudio.

Then it looks like a MePo issue.
Are you experienced enougt to build graph in graphstudio with "MediaPortal File Reader" filter instead of LAVF splitter and try if passthrough will be working?

    Re: AW: Re: AW: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

    So long, my experience with LAV audio decoder and bitstreaming

    Bitstreaming of DD, DTS, DD True HD and DTS HD MA works for playing Blurays with the LAV audio decoder in MP. However, using LAV audio for playing recorded TV files(DD) yields to a fast playback speed (like fast forwad) and audio is wrong. LiveTV with DD was not working at all with LAV audio.

    When MP is configured to use FFDShow Audio for TV and LAV audio for Files, I had the problem that there was no input signal on the receiver for TV, when a Bluray was played before with LAV. When I switch of the receiver and on again, FFDShow's audio was working again. Now, I use the Microsoft Audio decoder for TV and LAV for Files(Bluray Images), which is working.

    However yesterday I had the problem, that FFDShow Audio was used instead of LAV audio, albeit LAV was configured in MP. I increased the Merit for LAV audio and then it was working again. Why was the configured decoder not used?

    Since MP1.2B I often have the problem, that MP crashes when a Bluray Iso is started via Moving Pictures. I don't know yet, if it is a decoder, the BD handler or anything else. Does anyone have the same probem? Any hint, how to find out, what is crashing?

    Regards,

    Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

    @alexirion,dirki1972:

    LAVF audio decoder is primary created to work with LAVF splitter.
    If LAVF audio decoder is used with other splitter, like Mediaportal file reader, there can issues happend.

    To test it in Graphstudio, here i small registry tweek - after apply, *.ts files will be open in graphstudio using "MediaPortal File Reader" like on MediaPortal LiveTV.
    Check that by 2x click on first filter in graph (it should be TsReader.ax).

    If audio passthrough wont work, there is a problem between MediaPortal File Reader and LAVF audio decoder.
    If it will be working, problem must be located inside Media Portal itself (or MePo settings - like set wrong audio renderer)

    hello again,

    here an screenshoot from graphstudio and the logfiles. can you see why on live tv the cpu goes up to 55% of usage and on the channel DMAX audio and video stucks.Both codecs,pdvd10/11 ms dtv,ffdshow. With all other media the cpu is about 10%

    I deactivate the resize&aspect is that not so good? MePo does it itself to bring the media file on fullscreen.

    @D3ltoroxp:
    1) You should use default audio renderer
    2) you should use PDVD11 decoder

    To 1:: Only for TV or for all. I use the Audio Render Changer, Therefore the question.For that i must use the same render for all, video, dvd, tv for hdmi out.

    Hi,
    the registry tweak didn't work. Graphstudio was showing, that LAV splitter is still beeing used. With LAV splitter and LAV audio / PDVD 11 the recorded TV played fine in Graphstudio.
    In MP the same file plays with increased speed with the same decoders - picture and sound is played too fast - a funny "feature". ;-)

    Oh, sorry, my mistake, it wos not working for x64 OS. Now it is ok. Here is fixed one.

    BTW, i just tested playback of this TS sample on my x64 machine under MePo 1.20 and it play perfectly using PDVD11 decoder + LAVF audio decoder - but i dont use passthrough.
