Since I changed the codec to libmpeg2 yesterday I have not had any issues. I will load the latest build and see how it works.

On a side note do you recommend using ffdshow DXVA or PDVD11 for bluray?

If you dont care about subtitles, then PDVD becouse of interlaced VC-1 DXVA support.

OK, here is the SAF6 test build.
Including:
-DVD playback libmpeg2 test
-*.TS/*.M2TS files + FFDshow DXVA decoder crashing fix

Is it down? Cant download :/

If you dont care about subtitles, then PDVD becouse of interlaced VC-1 DXVA support.

...or if your player has in built subtitles support (case of MP itself ). I love PDVD11.

Anyway, I keep on saying that last PDVD11 build has some bugs for livetv... Could you release same pack (saf600_110531.exe) rolling back PDVD11 codecs? Pleeeease! I would like to keep LAV Splitter 0.28 and also fixed ffdshow, with old PDVD11 codecs...

Strange, I'm on that version and use the cyberlink codec for mpeg2 and its picture perfect, sure its not signal that could be the issue suddenly.

Hoborg - what ATI CCC do you run? From your screenshots in the SAF v5 thread it looks like 10.x, but I wasn't sure if you had updated.

So i have buy an av receiver with hdmi in/output. So now i set the ati hdmi render as default in win7 tuen i set it to in mepo or there on default too? Then i set passthrough in ffdshow and i will have on both the correct sound on tv and avr?also when my video have dts my avr will show dts when i switch the audioline to dd5.1 then my avr shows dd 5.1?

My HTPC is WinXP based. I have RADEON 6450 with latest catalyst hotfix.
But i am not using MediaPortal but GB-PVR for live TV and there is no problem playing MPEG-2 SD DVB-t.

So, can you record small sample to reproduce the issue?

TsReader is not showing discontinuities, so it's definetely not signal related. I'm not seeing pixelations. It has something to do framerate, sudden dropdowns of framerate, and maybe have something to do with deinterlace, so progressive content (offline content) is working perfect.

That's why I was asking please hoborg to do some test pack with last filters and old PDVD11 codecs. Or maybe you could modify installer so we can choose what codecs to install/upgrade, in case of an upgrade... could be?

since a while all of my bluray movies don't show subtitles anymore.
switched from ffdshow to powerdvd decoders but that didn't work, so any idea what it can be?

I seem to have the same issue with Bluray subs. I have been using SAF 5.02 for quite a while without problems but one of my few bluray isos did not work with DTS passthrough. Occasionally I have tested SAF6 but due to some bugs with FFDSHOW DXVA I have always reverted back to SAF5. (Even though bluray ISO have worked with some builds.

However SAF6 testbuild posted 110607 seems to be working OK for me now but now I don't have subs in the bluray iso (worked before).

I also have broken sound with all online video.

Are these known issues (broken subtitle in blurays and broken sound in online video)
Have not found any posts about this except the above.

If not I can start digging some more with graphstudio and logs.
