That does not matter. I just need any TS recording with DD+ audio stream.

Please try the file under this link and give a yell when you have it.
The file comes from Dutch digital HD-TV with 2 audio-streams, one should be DD according to the info on the display of my DVB-C receiver.

mhm this happens only with MS DTV for h.264 codec. Hoburg is there a way to downgrade to an older PDVD 11 codec version to test if the older ones work better? The newest one results in crazy picture jumping from time to time.

You can try to use older SAF release.

Hi hoborg and thanks for a quick answer, my gpu is a HD 6770, just bought it last weak after I thought all my problems from my last postings came from HD 2600 which was too old.

Just to remind you, the problem I've mentioned above only occurs when starting MP and playing MKV with embedded subtitles.

If after starting MP I play any movie, MKV without embedded subtitles or any Xvid or Divx, afterwords playing MKV with embedded subtitles is OK.

I've the latest catalyst drivers, and video options in the CCC are set up per you suggestions in SAF 5.02 first page. I also have pull down set to on which I don;t know if it's relevant.

after changing from SAF 5 to 6 (unlocked) i´have some trouble with several MKV. When starting them in Mediaportal it crashes completely and I am back on Desktop. I figuered out, that the problem is the ffdshow(DXVA) codec, with PDVD11 it works. System is an 785 AMD-onboardchip. In the annex there´s a mediainfo.txt from one file.
I hope that you´ve got the sollution.

Unfortunately no if i press "No, my player can display subtitles (MediaPortal, etc...)" during installation like in SAF 5 (Screenshot 1)! Then i will be immediately directed to the first "Audio passthrough window/question" (Screenshot 2)! If i press Yes, then i will be asked for the kind of subtitles!

Another thing, i find my selv turning up and down the Volume all the time, its really low, i have to turn up tv volume 50% more then i normal do, whit this new version 6.xx
You have any clue why? how can i fix..

when changning from MEPO to tv its really loud tv channels..
its like mepo is much more low volume then before V 6..

I also noticed this too and I don't see any way to make it so that it outputs at a louder volume. I will be watching something that I have to bump my TV volume all the way up to 50+ when normally i have it set to 20 max when switching to my Cable box to watch TV or some external input.

why is ffdshow audio decoder not integrated anymore? I need it for my stereo configuration. Can't find these options in the LAVF Audio decoder options. Is there any chance to install the audio decoder manually?

ffdshow.ax is there in C:\Windows\System32, its just not registered, double click to do that.

I'm wondering if any one has this problem. I'm using mepo 1.2 beta
I have no audio associated with any of my MKV's in mepo, checked in graph studio and sure enough missing audio filter etc, I was using saf5 latest version. I now have latest version of saf6 but same problem. The odd thing is when I installed saf6 the audio filter and output was back until I done a reboot of windows then the audio filter disappeared i'm using audio pass-through to my AV amp and my default is set to SPDIF as normal. It seems to me at least that the audio side is not staying registered with windows.
Any suggestions?

Found that mpeg2 files are ok, seems to be mkv container with h264 (x264) video
rechecked and still having issues with all file types

mepo --> MediaPortal

Also mepo is the name of the MediaPortal mascot whom was featured in Blue3 & Blue3Wide skins...
