Re: AW: Re: AW: Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

And can you see what ?

Sorry, i didnt found anything...

This is not possible...

I use my plugin (Audio Renderer Changer) this changes the Renderer to the right one.
In Windows 7 it is not possible to change this with the registry!

Now I noticed, that in ARD HD (Eurovision) AC3 doesn't work with LAVF! There the sound is stuttering!

I'm recording it and post a small sample!
Which tool should I use? TS-Doctor?

Why it is not possible? Just disable the plugin and try default audio renderer - just for test. Maybe your selected renderer refuse the connection.

    OK you're right ;)

With the default renderer I have the same problem!

I only want to user my Desktop because of Visual Studio 2010 to adjust ARC to LAVF...

This is generally not possible with the plugin because the renderer is the one wich is changed to have stereo and if you wish to have 5.1 AC3...

Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

Since currently some 5.1 passthru won't work with the lavf audio decoder I'm using the mpc-mpa audio decoder

to activate it go to the mp directory and at double click MpaDecFilter.ax - then run the configuration program for MP. You will need to
go to the codecs section and under Mpc-Mpa u need to set "spdif" for each section.

Until Lavf can do it itself .. I'm using this

Can you post sample of not working video?

If your video have for example FLAC/AAC/WMA 5.1 audio, you need to add FFDshow audio processor to MePo postprocessing to be able to use on te fly AC3 encoding and passthrough it.

BTW, does it working in Graphstudio?

i have no problem to play your sample using LAVF splitter+audio decoder, but i domt use passthrough - it is AC3 audio.

    EDIT:
MePo TS reader + LAVF audio decoder working just fine too.

Unlocked SAF will install proppage.dll for you automatically.
Ah ok. Though I did use unlocked SAF on that system, maybe something went wrong during the installation.

Can you send me your proppage.dll?

    LAV Filters 0.26 out:

    General
    - The VC2010 runtime is no longer required to be installed

    LAV Splitter
    - Further VC-1 in MKV improvements
    - Added a separate "mpegvideo" (m2v files) option to the Format section
    - Added a flag for secondary audio streams
    - Changed the default DTS media type (better compatibility)

    LAV Audio
    - Added the ability to use the ArcSoft DTS decoder directly through LAV Audio
    - Added an automatic algorithm to keep A/V sync stable
    - Improved Bitstreaming with splitters other then LAV Splitter
    - Improved timestamp generation when bitstreaming
    - Fixed LPCM 24-bit Media Types

May be this will fix passthrough with MePo file reader - i will release next SAF soon.

Can you send me your proppage.dll?
Sure, where is the original located? I put the manually downloaded one in syswow64 (as per instructions somewhere else here on the forum) and registered it there. But the original proppage.dll seems to be in another place? Though I did reinstall SAF a lot of times since then.

Btw. I had a serious issue withsaf600_110512 on that system. Any video file with content that is able to be decoded by the GPU did not work (i.e. any mkv with h.264 etc. for instance). The symptoms were: when I opened the video file with MPC-HC, only the first frame would be shown and nothing else would happen. If I openend it in MediaPortal, basically the same would happen. If I tried to render it with GraphStudio, GraphStudio would hang up. I had to switch back to saf600_110509 where everything was working again.
