Sure, where is the original located? I put the manually downloaded one in syswow64 (as per instructions somewhere else here on the forum) and registered it there. But the original proppage.dll seems to be in another place? Though I did reinstall SAF a lot of times since then.


Btw. I had a serious issue withsaf600_110512 on that system. Any video file with content that is able to be decoded by the GPU did not work (i.e. any mkv with h.264 etc. for instance). The symptoms were: when I opened the video file with MPC-HC, only the first frame would be shown and nothing else would happen. If I openend it in MediaPortal, basically the same would happen. If I tried to render it with GraphStudio, GraphStudio would hang up. I had to switch back to saf600_110509 where everything was working again.

Yes, it is known problem. FFDShow DXVA decoder is broken in latest SAF. It will be fixed in next SAF.

I tried now around 4h with any SAF Version to run TV and Video (HD and Non HD) on my new MP Installation. Every Video is jerking. With VLC or Graphstudio -> anything is fine. What can i do? What do you mean with "the player is the problem"?
Win7, MP 1.1.3, SAF from 4.0 to 6.0

Yes, it is known problem. FFDShow DXVA decoder is broken in latest SAF. It will be fixed in next SAF.

SAF 6.00 SVN20110516 out:
- MPC-HC filter/player updated to rev. 1.5.2.3107
- FFDShow updated to rev.3853
- LAVF updated to .26
- MPC-HC player is now selectable component
- DC-Bass Source Filter is now selectable component
- removed MS VC++ 2010 runtime (not needed any longer)

FFDShow DXVA freeze should be fixed now.
And please test LiveTV AC3 passthrough too.

When i use passthrough over toslink and switch the audioline my avr shows me pcm and not dts what the second audioline is. When the first audioline is dts it works fine. I use ffdshow audio.

EDIT:: K now i will test the lav for my audio and passthrough, then i must set passthrough off in ffdshow audio ? And for which Codec is passthrough by the install ?

EDIT 2 :: So i try to use LAV Audio but he wont used. I watch a serie look at graphstudio and lav audio is in use. When i try Avatar with DTS in graphstudio now ffdshow was used, but i have disabled all formats in ffdshow. In LAV Settings i set all formats DTS, Dolby, etc.
Why it does not remain with the LAV ? Too bad i will test him to see everything on my AVR runs.

Make sure you restart your machine after SAF install. Restart is needed to change merit.

I do allways restart my htpc after saf install. Must i do also an restart after setup the lav audio decoder? Should i set the merit from lav to high and the ffdsho audio off? Must i click yes on install by the passthrough question or is this for the ffdshow?

LAVF audio decoder passthrough works fine at my machine; DTS passthrough didn't work with the .25 build. Now everything works: live TV AC3 included.

Ok it works fine to by me, but i have 2 questions. I use the Audio Render Changer, when i switch from TV to AVR i must stop the Video and play again, than my AVR gets the DTS, Dolby etc. When i don't stop the video, nothing comes to my AVR he show me only PCM.

And a other problem, when i have 2 audiolines, the first is ac3 2.0 and the second DTS, i will switch to the second line (DTS) but my AVR shows only PCM.
