Then try to disable DXVA for VC-1. There is something wrong with LAVF splitter + FFDShow VC-1 DXVA decoder. Normal FFDShow VC-1 decoder working perfectly (default SAF setting). Or use PDVD11 decoder from ulocked SAF to play h.264/VC-1 using DXVA.

Awesome, that works a treat. Many thanks!

Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

    hi all

i added a new refresh rate for 23.976 (set as 23.978 for correct ratio..long story there lol..also in dynamic refresh rate changer u need to set this number there also) for my nvidia graphics card in my htpc..now i get VASTLY better picture when i use the true motion setting (200hz)

active pixels horizontal: 1920 vertical: 1080
front porch horizontal: 638 vertical: 4
sync width horizontal: 44 vertical: 5
total pixels horizontal: 2750 vertical: 1124
    polarity horizontal: positive vertical: positive
    refresh rate: 23.978

...so! Now i have an audio delay of about 200ms ...i can fix it for all audio that ffdshow (or lavf audio decoder) controls as they have audio delay settings...however passthru does not have such a setting :(

so my question is how do i get the audio to line up with the video ?

im using DVI from pc to tv and spdif from pc to 5.1 dts amp

    Hi hoborg,
    i get
'NTVDM CPU Has Encountered an Illegal Instruction'
    'CS:=f43 IP:0116 OP:63 65 73 73 20'
when I try to install SAF600.
    Same on different systems.
    What do I wrong?

    Regards JTW

the audio is 200ms ahead of the video
I have the same problem on a friend's system, where we use S/P-DIF passthrough. However, it only occurs for some videos, not all. And it doesn't occur in LiveTV.

Does it occur everywhere for you?

it happens on blurays and mkvs with 5.1 audio , but not with xvids or such with mp3 audio (so im thinking the passthru is the issue)

ill check tv when i get home but i think its ok

Re: SAF v6.00 (based on LAVF)

SiLenTYL, I use ffdshow for any audio in my htpc (livetv, offline content), so LAV Audio decoder still doesn't have audio delay option... Also I use spdif passthrough... and I have no problem to set up audio delay... ¿?

BTW, thanks for the tip about new refresh rate. I'll try it. What TV do you have?

EDIT: I can't configure those settings for new refresh rate... It says my display is not cappable... :(
