In my music collection I have 16bit and 24 bit flac concerts of the same. For example Artist2009-07-17.16bit.flac Artist2009-07-17.24bit.flac When I go to play that show if there happens to be both formats available, mediaportal will lump both folders together as one album and I have doubles of every track than. It does keep them in order for example the 24bit show tracks are all in the top than the 16bit begins or vice versa. Is this a tagging issue, or a view issue I have set in mediaportal? I'm not really sure where to begin in resolving this slight issue of mine. I suppose I could get rid of the 16bit versions but I like to keep them around in case I need to burn a show for someone. I record concerts and my masters are in 24 bit yet I also process them to 16bit to burn discs for friends and leave them on the fileserver once the work is done so I won't have to do it again if needed. I'm still getting a grip on "views" in mediaportal as well as getting my music collection tagged correctly. With that said I feel I'm just missing something in getting mediaportal to display and play music like I want it. ok it seems like I just need to tweak the views and deal with what I figure out. If I view by share it shows both my folders, now to see if I can tweak it a little more. :sorry: [/QUOTE]
