When scanning folders containing .ISO images media portal mounts the ISO and then shows a new movie named "d:\video_ts\video_ts.ifo".

If you have several iso images you end up with several movies with the same name making it nearly impossible to grab info from IMDB. And everytime you scan the folder all iso images are scanned again whether they are already in the database or not.

Why Media Portal has to mount the iso file??

Wouldn't it be better not to mount the iso file and just add it to the database???

Take a look at the log below. Let's say I have the following movies in alphabetical order:

A Goofy Movie (mkv)
Alexander (iso)
All The King's Men (mkv)
Flushed Away (mkv)
Happy Feet (iso)
Hoodwinked (mkv)

Interesting that this hasn't been fixed yet, shouldn't be too complicated?

Well, it's not a big issue for me, as i only have a few DVD ISOs and i get them to my database correctly by using "shares" mode and getting imdb info that way.. when you do it that way, the database link points to the iso file and hence, it doesn't get mounted until you choose it.

I can imagine that not having a working scan is an annoying issue if you have hundreds of ISOs.. but in that case, you would probably be using myfilms plugin and an ant database.
