Scanning VixS PureTV Card Hangs (1 Viewer)

I have a "ASUS COMBO-210E PCI-E TV TUNER CARD, COMBO-210E NTSC/ATSC PCIE". When I try to analog channel scanning the process hangs. I started with two idenitcal cards and since they had the same name in Media Portal I removed one of the cards and uninstalled/reinstalled Media Portal. I also installed AnalogPatch-Rev22555. The problem remains. I have tried GBPVR and it works with the card, but I want to run Media Portal. Attached is a image of the screen and the log files. Any suggestions?

May i ask what OS you are running and what driver version you have?

I also am having this issue with a Vixs 48B0 card on Windows XP Pro.

Can you recieve any of the QAM channels? Im not sure if your card has this option.

Please let me know if you found a way to get your Vixs card to work with Mediaportal.

I tried GB-PVR, GB-PVR mediacentre. TV, Music, Video, Pictures, DVD, and it worked perfectly! I was not able to get any help whatsoever with MediaPortal software. You will get all the help you need with GB-PVR.
