1. delete tvguide.xml
2. start MP setup and remove all programs from tv database
3. start mediaportal in fullscreen mode
4. go to MyTv
5. go to scheduled
6. New
7. Advanced Record
8. Select channel
9. record every day at this time
10. select today's date
11. select closest time to your current time
12. select 0.5 hours
13. select default

Recording never happens and it just jumps to next date, and next date comes and no recording again. It's similar to:

Something similar here: If no EPG- data is present for a particular channel, weekly recordings are skipped on that channel.

    Hi Peter,

I was using this program at the start, and then I looked at tvguide.xml and wrote one for the entire year, with 24hour block for each day. Thanks for the program :)

By the way, you seem to have a nice HTPCs setup in your place; do you have a link explaining your systems? I'm interested to read about it.
