I have a fresh install with mysql (that I suspect might have something to do with the issue).
Most of the time (~90%), scheduled recordings does not stop recording when they are supposed to.
As you can see in the attached logs, two recordings were started at around 10:25-10:30 today (july 30th). One recording (The Real A&E) stopped recording as it should, but the other one (Cleo) just continued recording (should have stopped at 11:15 including 10 min padding).

I haven't found anything strange in the logs, except that MP sometimes seem to have problem connecting to mysql. I'm considering reinstalling MP with mssql instead of mysql, don't know if it might help.

Is there anything else that I should test?

EDIT:
I just realised that all the recordings that have gone wrong have Swedish letters (åäö) in the filename. Can this be a problem? Although, I didn't have any problem with this on my last install (XP with MP 1.0.2). Just an idea...

    Your database is corrupt:
    2010-07-29 09:02:20.456800 [TVService(5)]: Exception :Error: StatementErrorUnclassified
Gentle.Common.GentleException: select idCanceledSchedule, idSchedule, idChannel, cancelDateTime from CanceledSchedule where idSchedule = ?idSchedule; ---> MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlException: Table 'canceledschedule' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

Please repair your database and see if that helps.

    To repaid
Open up a command prompt (as admin if Vista / Win7)
navigate to MySQL Bin folder (is C:\\Program Files\\MySQL\\MySQL Server 5.1\\bin for me) and enter
    Code:
    mysqlcheck --user=root --pass=MediaPortal --auto-repair MPTVDB

Perhaps I should have mentioned that I saw and repaired that error yesterday. So I don't think it has anything to do with my problem, sorry.

Are you able to provide clean logs of this happening again as things like the database corruption taint the logs and make it difficult to see what is going on

Can you also think whether this is all recordings, a certain type (eg. every week at this time) etc?

Everything in the logs from 10 AM on July 29th should be valid, that's when i fixed the database.
I'll attach new logs as soon as I see this again.
It happens all the time, not on a special day/time.
Also, as I mentioned in my first post, it seems that all recordings that goes wrong has swedish characters in the filename. Don't know if it might have something to do with this.

It's strange, but after I reported the problem it hasn't occurred again.
As I said, I had already repaired the db before I reported the problem. But after that, I repaired it again (without the command reporting any faults). Something must have changed, 'cause now everything seems to work fine.
The only thing else that I've done is disabling the MiniDisplay plugin due to the bug that made it impossible to play recordings, but this can't affect my problem, right?
