Hello all
(long time user, first time poster.)
So far, I have managed to solve all of my MP issues from searching this fantastic forum. So I'd like to thank all the great forum members and, of course, the MP devs for a product that I really enjoy using!
Question: Can anyone help me with scheduling Comskip?
What I would like is to run Comskip on my recordings directory in the middle of the night (when CPU usage is low and I'm not recording) to generate Comskip data for that day's new recordings and ignore the recordings where I've already got Comskip data.
I've tried For the Record and found that it wasn't for me.
As for 3rd party programs, I have investigated MCE Buddy which would be perfect for scheduling the in-built Comskip feature except there is no option to NOT convert.
As for writing a batch file to do this, I lack the know-how to get Comskip to go into the recordings sub-folders to pick up only the new recordings. Maybe someone has written one?
Many thanks
DC
