Recently I bought a mobile phone that has the possibility to connect to the internet or a WLAN. Is there a possibility or a tool that enables me to use the phone to schedule a recording? Either at home using the WLAN or elsewhere using internet?

If the browser can use javascript, or if you can install a MSN-Client, have a look at For The Record. It has webaccess and a IM-Bot. The bot can schedule recordings in the next versin 1.4, have testet it in a beta myself.
There are also other plugins to schedule a recording with a browser, but I have no experience with them. But others can help out with that for sure
