Can't get the MP to hibernate!

    OK,

Thanks for all your help so far guys, I am almost there now and it all seems to be working perfectly, with the exception of the powersave.

For some reason, I just can not get my computer to go in to hibernate or standby. This means that I can not "go live" with MP until I have got this working, because I can't leave the PC on all the time, and if I manually hibernate the PC it will not set my recordings!

I have tried the MPstandbyhandler as kindly suggested, but I can not work out what to do with it :sorry: Do I run it at the same time as MP? I have tried the standby and wake-up buttons, but nothing happens at all! Am I missing a configurations? I have also run the installer, but can not find where it puts the files, so I am running it from a folder on my desktop, is this wrong? :sorry::sorry::sorry::sorry:

Even if I set the system in the home screen with all the media playing stopped and use the standby or hibernate button at the top of the MP screen it will not hibernate or standby (although the reboot and shutdown options work fine).

Can anyone give any help please.

P.S. Hibernation does work on my system because it works as a normal windows function.
P.P.S There seems to be some hard drive activity all the same when on the home screen. Have I missed an MP service that I don't know about? I have tried the "force shutdown" option in the client and server, but this did not help.

    Thanks in advance!

I really want to get this to work as the look, functionality and simplicity of the user interface in MP is just awesome. The more I use it the more and more I am impressed. It is so much better than DVB Viewer (from what I can tell so far), I just need to get this hibernation fixed.
