Re: AW: Screen calib file warning and d2dapp error

I've just started having odd tearing issue, and I'm also wondering how to force either 30 or 60 FPS?

It's a mystery why playback has problems all of a sudden. There is no stuttering, but a persistent tear about 1/3 from top of picture. It is there even in the GUI.

One clue (?): Yesterday while playing a YouTube video my monitor kept blanking out for about 1 second, repeating every few seconds. I had to power it off/on and that fixed it. From reading other threads this seems to indicate that the refresh rate was being changed by video card (NVIDIA). Monitor is only capable of 60 Hz.
