Screen Support (1 Viewer)

I don't know if this is already mentioned but I would love to see Media Portal implement screen support. That is the ability to send Media Portal in full screen mode to either your primary or secondary screen (Meedio has this option if you want to compare). Basically I could have my desktop extended to my TV (my secondary) and then Media Portal would open up full screen on my TV rather than on my desktop.

I was looking around in the forums for a solution for this, but I couldn't find anything. Has there been a solution/implementation for this?

I am currently running myHTPC (yes, the one from over a year ago...) on the extended desktop (-->TV) of my wife's computer, and my goal is to have her never even notice that I am running software like this (to avoid her getting mad at me while she's typing up her notes from school).
I like the feature of myHTPC to determine the exact size and position of the main window right at startup, as well as the fact that it runs "frameless/menuless".
If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know. I really would like to replace myHTPC with MP, as MP is ALOT nicer.

That would be cool.. but I guess the answer for now is "no."

To cut a long story short, DirectX doesn't support multi-monitor. MP is very DirectX dependant and therefore it doesn't work. Even some of the experienced DirectX/Directshow programmers like frodo and OB2 aren't very interested in trying because they know how complicated it is. Sadly this isn't going to happen soon. I have tried HydraVision and it wouldn't cope with MP. Clone and Theatre modes are as good as I can get right now.
