Screensaver issues (1 Viewer)

Ok, so I'm new and just setting this up. How do I get the screensaver options working correctly?

I've messed with the settings, and so far while tweaking I've gotten it so during a period of inactivity (no idea how long this is supposed to be) it will flash black for a second and come right back to the menu screen.

I've also been able to get the Windows screen saver to come on fine. But when I hit a button on the remote, the screensaver is not disabled.

I just want the Windows screensaver to kick on when there has been no activity and there is not a video playing. If I'm in the menu system. Or a video is paused, then the Windows screen saver should kick in. Unless there's a better option?

Anyone? Help? I fear for the safety of my $3000 plasma when I have a girlfriend tends to pause the TV and get distracted by something else... At least dim the screen like most other media players.

have you found a solution ?

i look also for a solution that a screensaver dont start in TV/DVD Fullscreen, in other environments should the screensaver start after few minutes.

maybe an "On Now" hover bouncing about a blank screen with the image and channel# or DVD Name and the word PAUSED... or a "Now Playing" image/song-info hover for music that is playing unattended after a few minutes. ... just so you know that the display is still on.
