I have an old CRT TV with the usual overscan, and I have noticed that UI calibration doesn't work when I initially start MediaPortal. Starting TV and stopping it again applies the calibration tho.
With the recent core.dll I didn't get a TV picture - only sound, until I did the same. Stopping and starting again.
I have two screens connected to the PC, the TV at 1024x576 (Secondary) and a VGA screen at 1024x600 (Primary) (edit:is1024x768). MP is on the TV - secondary screen. I use the screenselector setting to make it start on the TV.
Going through the logs I saw this:
and:
No video on TV - just audio.
Stopping TV and starting it again gives:
and:
The video is working
Setting the TV as primary screen works tho:
...and the rest works as expected.
So, my guess is that the ScreenSelector setting is missed somewhere during initialization.
For now I can have the TV as the primary screen, but it would be nice to have this resolved
