Scrolling through menus slow (1 Viewer)

I'm sure its been asked a million times before, but here i go......

I have a usb IR receiver and a MCE remote. everything is working fine, but when im in a large menu ie music or moving picutres and I need to scroll down... i will hold the down arrow and it will scroll down very slowly. Is there a way to get it to scroll down like when you hold the down key on the keyboard?

Hi.
I am having almost the same problem.
I enter the music menu (switch view: shares, layout: list) and i enter in a folder which contains too many folders inside.
I try to scroll down the folders, holding the "down" key of the remote.
It scrolls with speed at the beginning. After some folders it stops scrolling and it seems like it "freezes", and after a while it returns to the main menu itself!
I have a LOT of music (in folders), if this has to do with the issue.
