Ongoing Searching for a right TV-tuner and CAM module. (Netherlands Ziggo) (DD Duoflex) (1 Viewer)

Hi people,

Last year I attempted to build a HTPC. The tuners I use don't work on MP, long story, and now I am looking to get back into the project. Can anyone help clear some things up? I have been digging around, but information is scarce.

I'm thinking about buying this tuner/CAM set

Pretty sure that that is the right one for me, cause I'm looking for a cable tuner that is a double one while using one CAM-module.

Now for the CAM part, I know my provider (Ziggo, Netherlands) uses a CI+ cam. And here I am confused as to what to get. I read around that CI+ is a nono for HTPC, as it is meant for televisions and provider tuners. So how do I make sure that the CAM-module I buy works with my smartcard?

Seems that the Alphacrypt has most decryption software. My cable provider uses Irdeto encryption, so the Alphacrypt module seems like a good choice.
