What's the best way to select a different backdrop?

Sometimes the first selected backdrop is not great and I'd like to select another.
Moving Pictures scales down the high res pictures and shrinks the filesize as well so I can't just go to fanart or themoviedb and get the images without doing some extra work to get the file right.

I'm thinking DVDArt plugin is the easiest method to get the fanart, but then it calls the image the imdb number and I end up with three versions.
So I would probably need to clean up the unused versions. I think there's a plugin for that too.

Still keen on the idea of Moving Picures having a Cycle Backdrop option. It's doing it for Cover Art already.

    Hi KJ-Cox,
thanks to a code by @pünktchen, MovingPictures already offers the option to display multiple fanarts in a loop. You can also adjust the interval between images. ;)

You can find the code in the forum under “MOD - Moving Pictures multiple fanarts (slideshow)”

I don't want to add backdrop images for movies and have them on rotation. That's too manual and I only want one image.

I would like to have a single fanart backdrop download (if required) and provide another choice of background. Sometimes the default backdrop is not something I like and an easy GUI menu option in Moving Pictures to Cycle Backdrop-Art would be perfect.

I noticed when importing a movie into Moving Pictures the logs say that the 10 Cover Art images were added, but only one backdrop image as added even though there were 99 available and I looped 10 backdrop images. So there does not seem to be the ability currently to fetch more than one using the scraper.

    Fanart Handler? MePoTools?
I don't think these tools can do this task.

Since you have to browse through the available background images anyway before you can choose your favorites, it would be nice to have an “artwork chooser” similar to the one in TVSeries! ;)
