Just a thought... could it be the .net framework or the DLLs for MSSQL 2005 not installed on the XP machine? The Web Server app tries to connect to the database on startup...I have organised access to a 2003 Server (small business) later next week to try to get to the bottom of this...I will keep you posted.Kev
