I'm using windoze XP Media Centre on the server running MP and the Web Interface.

However, I managed to fix it, I'm not too sure what was wrong, but I managed to create a new user for MySQL and then managed to get the Web Interface to use that new user.

TBH I would prefer if I was using Linux, coz then I could just use phpmysql, which I am much more use to, but hey hey, MP doesn't support Linux sadly

Anyway, it is all working now, haven't had any more crashes so I guess that was due to using the same MySQL user as MP was using, so no real surprise there
