hello all,
I'd say:" finished".
This htpc is a complete diy-project built from scratch.
My worklog can be found here.
I'd love to have a small and quiet htpc and thought to buy a mcubed enclosure...until I saw the high price....
But I didn't like the big aluminum profile of the mcubed. So I decided to use aluminum fins with heatpipes connected to the cpu. And that's wat's turned out. A housing which is the cooler itself.
Hardware:
TV-card : Cinergy-S2
CPU: AMD X2-BE-2400
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA780G-S2H
HDD: 250GB 2.5" Hitachi
BR-Player: BDC-202
Display: 73" LG 37LY95 full hd
VFD: Mplay Blast 202
PSU:Morex 150 W
Software:
Win XP Pro SP2
MP 0.2.0.3+TVServer SVN17044 (still use it coz no trouble )
speedfan which runs the 80mm pwm fan in case of cpu overheating
Plugins & Patches:
Patch: DVB fix otherwise the Cinergy S2 wasn't able to scan in TVserver Config
CybrDisplay from Cybrmage...thank you
BR Plugin from Mophat ...thanks
Test results with TV and Bluray
here
Enjoy
