Sending an Event to MP (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to send events to MP? At the moment i'am sending the assigned keys via my remote to MP to start any actions.

Example:
I'am in the video screen and i want to see the video info (lokal menü, imdb/ofd). I think there must be an event that i can send to mp instead of "Key-F9" "Key-2" (open lokal menu, press key 2 für menueitem 2)

If it is possible to send such an event: are the available events are global ones or can i send only the events, that the actual screen can handle?

Global means for me: i'am in a subscreen for example in "Video" and i can jump to the "Music" screen by sending the corrsponding evtent by remote to mp. This would avoid to go first up to the main screen and then drill down to the music screen.

Does no one have an info on that one? Or is it no possible to send an event to MP?

try the "my keys" plugin, at least it would partially solve your problem as i think

Good idea! But i thougt, that MP works internaly with Windows Messages. That means if someone assigns a button in a theme an action, than this action would be send by that button to to internal MP messagehandler.

If this is true than i would like to send such a message by my remote control software.

Maybe i can work around with that plugin.
