In the UK, DVB-T comes with a 7 Day EPG with all channel information regardless of which one is tuned. It takes about 5 minutes for MP to collect this data.
However Freeview DVB-S only puts out 'Now & Next' so if you use the DVB EPG you have to put the timing on the EPG check at about 60 minutes or less to avoid a lot of empty gaps in the EPG.
Ideally, Now & Next data would be processed even if the card is currently being used.
It would be really useful to make the DVB-T update once or twice a day, but have the DVB-S update each channel much more frequently.
Could this be added to the setup ? - ie. different timings for each card.
