I'm a noob at this i know - i read a few threads with similar sounding but it still doesn't work.
I downloaded the required components, ms sqlserver (and configured it with a sa account), c++ redistributable, .net 2.0, windows updates etc. I installed the latest SVN of Media Portal 0.2.3.0 and then i installed the TV Engine (also latest SVN). Currently my Media Portal 0.2.3.0 (release version) was unable to find my tv tuner card (it worked in 0.2.2.0) - but that's not the issue -
Confuring the TV Engine was a breeze - it found all DVB-T channels and for the fun of it i did a preview - they all worked. Hurrah i thought! Back into MP - opening up MyTV and EPG is working - great! Now i can't see any picture or hear any sounds, infact the TV won't go 'on'. I can change channels but none of them work. I can select the stream and its poiting to the right channel - it still doesn't work though.
I read i have to remove all channels from MP so it only uses the ones in the TV Engine. Funny thing is - i removed all tuner cards in MP before this tv engine install - but when i enter MP setup i see all my old channels (also some doubles and analog ones from MP 0.2.2.0 times - ones i never added in this new setup). Now all this info is greyed out in the MP setup so i can't remove them or change them. I tried (like i read i had to) stop the Engine service but it still didn't let me remove the channels from the MP setup.
Anyone know what i can do? Are the channelsetups stored somewhere in the registry - because im pretty sure i started on a fresh setup (new folder) for MP 0.2.3.0?
Thanks in advance!
