Hello,
I'm thinking of using the MediaPortal so I have some questions.
On the clientside I'm thinking of using Asrock ION 330 seems to be a nice little box.
But what about the serverside? Where do I need most of the power client or server?
I should say that I also looking to stream live-TV via a webinterface.
I'm new at this but my understanding is that when you do transcoding for a webinterface you probably need more power on the server than normal. Am I right?
And what about TV-cards. I have a FloppyDTV at the moment but in my new installation I would like to have 2 cards. Unfortunaley FloppyDTV is a little hard to get. Any other recommendations? I'm using DVB-C.
Can someone please guide me in the right direction?
