Setup Tv not working (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

After looking through forums I can't find anyything that helps with my problem.

I've freshly installed MediaPortal 1.0.2 and setup, however, when it comes to TV-Server Configuration and after I save information, a pop-up appears asking if I want to start TV service. I click "Yes", but I receive an error:

"Setup Tv has encountered a problem and needs to close..."

I've tried uninstalling/re-installing and have followed instructions to the letter, but nothing works.

I'm using:

Windows XP Media Centre Editin 2005 with SP3
Mobo - ASUS M2NPV-MX
CPU - AMD Athlon 6000+ X2
RAM - 4GB (3.25GB useable in XP)
GFX - nVidia Geforce 8600 GT 512MB
TV card - Pinnacle PCTV 3010iX Dual Analog + DVB-T Tuner

Any help would be greatly appreciated - I can't stand using the Pinnacle software - it's pathetic!!

TV card works fine in Windows Media Centre, but I want MediaPortal to work and give me more options.

Update:

Runs fine in Windows 7

Maybe I'm missing something in XP?

Goning to check Vista x64 and will update later.
